Samurai Spoon was established in 2014, and was Berlin's first okonomiyaki shop. Okonomiyaki is a type of Japanese savoury pancake, made from cabbage, spring onions, and our secret Samurai batter. There are several styles of okonomiyaki, each associated with a different region of Japan. In the markets, we cook 'Osaka style', with every pancake made fresh to order. The philosophy of this dish is simple : combine your favourite ingredients together on the grill, add your favourite toppings, and enjoy.
